I am grateful to be your guide in this wonderful process.
Reiki has been in my life for quite some time. My mother is Reiki Master and with her help I already felt for a long time the wonderful energy of Reiki. I’ve experienced very often the soft though powerful touch of Reiki hands and energy send by intention, from a distance.
Last years, I’ve been teaching Reiki, mostly one on one. I use it in a zillion ways during the day and in my work and private life too.
December 2014 I became Master, I was trained and initiated by Amanda Bouman, in The Hague. I am qualified to teach Reiki 1, 2, 3 and to do the initiations which are part of it.
Here you see the Reiki – Principles. Nice, kind and simple mantra’s which you can practise every day in your life. In the course we will talk about them.
These mantra’s are kind reminders. They give you the opportunity for reflection. They invite you to see all events and actions in the relation of the moment where and when it did take place. And: I would like to add a lot of humor too – then you have a wonderful set of ways to look at life, you and how these are related to the rest of the bigger world, the Cosmos and Light and Devine Forces you are about te deepen your relation with.
I show you once more the principles, with Mikao Usui – the founder of Reiki as we know it now.
Mikao Usui was a spiritual teacher in Japan, Kyoto. He studied old and ancient documents. The main question he wanted to answer came form his students. The question was: ‘How did Buddha and Jesus do hand-healing?‘
Mikao Usui found a symbol-language, but these are useless without the proper initiations. Mister Usui decided to go old school: he went to the mountains for a timelock of 21 days. He meditated, he fasted on the mountain with beautiful name Kuramayama. The 21th day it happened – he found himself connected to The Source, the Reiki – Source: A new Reiki – Master was born.
The followers of Usui are meanwhile spread all over the world. And the systems vary. Some are more vast in symbols and ways of using the Reiki – Source, other stick to the strict tradition as passed on by Master Usui.
I am a Free Master. I was raised in a way – to use all my Talents and Knowledge in the way I adapt Reiki. I feel very comfortable in Reiki and I am very grateful to pass you my knowledge.
The saying goes: ‘When the pupil is ready, the master arrives.’ It is an old Zen – Proverb. I love it.
